This jaunt is set to begin early in the morning on Monday, August 9. Once I meet up with Lila in Abbotsford, we'll set out for points east. Our destination is Dublin, Ohio -- at the Hotel Hammett (aka Gail, Troy, and Ryan's home) About a year ago they moved to Dublin -- just outside of Columbus.

Both Lila and I are pretty excited to see what the Di people have to offer in the way of programming for children on the autism spectrum.

After the conference, Lila will visit family in Ontario before she flies home to launch yet another year of a great special ed program at MEI.

I, on the other hand, am "retired", so I plan to head on down to Pine Knot to see more of my family before Mary Ann and I set out on a road trip adventure. We'll try to keep y'all y'all (I understand that is the plural of "y'all") up to date on our stories along the way.

I'll post a picture of the little Suzuki that will be "home" for me for about the next six weeks.
